Sajtka
Sajtka was one of my side projects that never quite took off.
The project was a Slovak-language platform for donating or selling items you no longer need. After all, one person’s trash can be another person’s treasure.
Got a 15-year-old laptop? Don’t throw it away—give it to someone who might install Linux and turn it into a server. Kids grown up? Instead of tossing their toys, donate them to someone who’ll appreciate them.
I ran this project around 2020 for a year or two. It was live, but never fully finished, and only a handful of users tried it. Due to personal reasons and running costs, I eventually decided to discontinue it.
But true failure is failing and not learning from it.
And honestly—it was fun to build. :)
